NATO Days in Ostrava will again offer to its visitors a presentation of Training Command – Military Academy in Vyskov (TC – MA). Its personnel are about to present wide spectrum of techniques on both static and dynamic display.

The United Kingdom is going to take part in NATO Days in Ostrava for the eight time. A Tornado F3 fighter plane will come to its historically last show outside the British Isles, which has been a regular participant of our show since 2003.

Airplanes from RAF Lakenheat base are every time one of the main attractions at NATO Days in Ostrava. An American HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter is coming from this base to Mošnov this year.

The tenth NATO Days in Ostrava will besides news offer you also an opportunity to see displays of military units, whose participation is considered as a tradition. 31st NBC Defence Brigade will make its equipment available for the visitors at a static display.

A list of countries that have confirmed their participation at NATO Days in Ostrava this year is widened also by Hungary. It becomes the second country after Austria, which is going to take part in NATO Days in Ostrava for the first time.

Besides modern airplanes, a unique, historical plane will take part in NATO Days in Ostrava and Czech Air Force Days – the last flying Hurricane from the Battle of Britain – Hawker Hurricane Mk I R4118. Organizers of the show intend to pay for participation of this plane by means of a public gathering.

ABOUT NATO DAYS IN OSTRAVA

NATO Days in Ostrava is non-commercial event
Entry to the whole programme is free of charge!

NATO Days in Ostrava, the Czech Republic, are the largest air, army and security show in Central Europe.

NATO Days in Ostrava consist of meetings, presentations, workshops and displays of military and security equipment culminating in a main event at Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport odkaz (airport-ostrava.cz).

AirIn 2010

During the event there is an opportunity to see military hardware exhibitions, police and rescue technology, dynamic shows of special units training, air displays and you have the chance to see first hand the different kinds of equipment used by units.

This is the only event that brings the latest technology used by soldiers, fire fighters, policemen, customs officers, the prison service, the municipal police and other elite units in one location. 

In addition to that, each year the organizers try to offer something really special.

The organizers of NATO Days in Ostrava are the Jagello 2000 Association, the Joint Forces Headquarters of the Armed Forces of the Czech Republic, the Fire Rescue Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Police of the Czech Republic and the Ostrava Leos Janacek Airport. The event is supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, the Moravian-Silesian Region, the Public Diplomacy Division NATO and the Statutory City of Ostrava. 1) The date collided with the CIAF air display, the organizers of CIAF subsequently changed the date after NATO Day in Ostrava had organizational backup.
2) Only the attendance of Saturday's Show that was influenced by very unfavourable weather.
